I feel that in the position of Activities Director, I have seen others and have also myself sent an email instead of talking to the other person face-to-face. It is not possible to understand a person's intent or tone in an email situation. Others can read too much in to a message or not get the appropriate message. Face to face conversations are still very important to have, especially when covering sensitive topics that might be misinterpreted.
