My second year of teaching was when we began implementing 1:1 laptops. I immediately wanted to jump in and try some music composition websites. I came upon one, but didn't fully look over every detail. During the creation phase, a student tried to view other people's musical compositions and discovered several with swear words. I immediately pulled that student aside and reminded them of appropriate language and staying on the specified section. However, I knew this was a fault of mine for not inspecting it more or going over with students about the guidelines of internet usage.
