I see digital media being used inappropriately most often in personal disagreements. It seems that rather than discuss a matter of disagreement face to face, individuals often first engage in a disagreement via email or text, to which a matter is carried out for an entire day. In these situations, if the opportunity is allowed, I think it would be best to discuss personal disagreements with an individual face to face. Often times, that issue is then shared with individuals who do have no relevant insight to a situation, but are drawn in only for the sake of 'stirring the pot'.
