A friend of mine was terribly upset that someone hacked into her Facebook account and put her name on a dating site. This caused a lot of grief - not only receiving all these messages from strangers, but also for her husband and family to see. As a result, she had to delete her account and wasn't sure if she even wanted to open a new FB account. This inappropriate use of digital media was extremely hurtful.
