Two examples- A few years ago i received a private message from an individual in my past. I was so surprised that he/she could find me and send the message. I was shaken and felt unsafe. The second example involved teachers in my school district friending students on Facebook and texting students regarding homework or sports practices, etc... This was frowned upon by the school district who instituted a new board policy - technology use for staff - the next school year.
