Inappropriate Use of Digital Media

I have had a forum post commented on with unconstructive negativity and unnecessary use of capitol letters. I realized this person was "trolling" me so I chose not to react to it. I'm not a very active person on the internet with sharing my own thoughts and ideas. I suppose I could have tried to contact a forum moderator about this person. I know that this persons goal was to make me angry and respond back at them with more negativity.

This is a good example for students. They need ti learn that reacting impulsively can case more problems than it solves. Tempers can get out of control because you're not  face to face.

a good example .  I would also have ignored this person but it would be a good chance to mention to students that there are site monitors whose job it is to police the input.  perhaps it would be someone to reach out to for help.  It would also give pause to those who forget there are consequences.
