Inappropriate Use of Digital Media

Share a time when you or someone you know was the recipient of an inappropriate use of digital media or when you might have used digital media in an inappropriate manner. How did this make you or others feel? What might have been done differently?

My son Chris was at a community gaming tournament and left with friends to go to lunch without locking his computer.  Another "friend"  thought it would be funny to post something totally inappropriate on his Facebook page.  When he came back, he immediately deleted the post, but not before my sister, his aunt had seen it and called to tell me how surprised she was that Chris would post that.  He was very upset by the post and had already contacted me to talk about it, so I was able to explain what had happened when she called.  He learned a big lesson--never leave your computer unattended and unlocked where someone, even if THEY think it's funny, can access it!
