Inappropriate Use of Digital Media

Share a time when you or someone you know was the recipient of an inappropriate use of digital media or when you might have used digital media in an inappropriate manner.  How did this make you or other feel? What might have been done differently?

Dealing with students from the 7th to 12th grade level, I have seen or heard of many situations when digital media was used in an inappropriate manner.  Several times in the last few years, students have posted pictures of their weekend activities online only to be confronted with the administration and had to deal with the consequences.  Of course, this made for hard feelings between groups of students.  Students just need to think about what they are posting. This does not only happen with students; it also happens with adults who become upset and post things before they think.
