Although the question refers to email, social media sites and software, I also think websites such as answers.com and brainly fall into that category. These are sites where students post their assignment questions and then other students comment with answers. As a teacher for an online school, I am constantly catching students who are copying and pasting these answers and using them as their own which is an inappropriate use of digital media. As a teacher, this can become frustrating and I wonder how much cheating is really going on. Our school as a whole should be responsible for doing our best to combat this on a daily basis.
