This topic hits hard personally for me in the past few months. My son was the senior quarterback of our high school football team. Him and some of his teammates were jokingly rough housing with one of their teammates in the locker room. What was done was minor and consensual between all those involved. It was typical of what happens in a locker room. The problem was it was put on Snapchat. The Snapchat story made its way to administration and parents. The school did take action and the boys had to sit out the first half of the last game of the season. The boys involved felt it was unfair as what actions they did were minor compared to things that happened in the past. The boy who posted on Snapchat didn't leave his room for 3 days feeling guilty because if he didn't post it there would have been no trouble. They did not know he was filming what was happening. It was a good lesson to all involved. I also feel that cellphones should not be allowed in a locker room setting for the privacy of others.
