Using Facebook is a fun and convenient way to stay in touch with family and friends. However, there are times when people use inappropriate language, start arguments over politics or social beliefs, or post vulgar jokes or pictures. These kinds of posts are offensive, and it bothers me that once I see them, I can’t “unsee” them. Since I don’t want to hurt the feelings of others, or start a verbal fight, I choose to store the information from those people under “acquaintances” or “close friends”. That way, their posts do not pop up on my news feed, but instead, they’re stored in another place that I can still access if needed.
