Inappropriate Use of Digital Media

Throughout the time that I have spent teaching in a high school setting, one example that stands out to me is when a female high school student received an inappropriate picture of another student at the school.  After having an in-depth conversation with her about her feelings, how this is inappropriate and why it is inappropriate, I explained to her what would be appropriate as far as the next step which included her turning it into the school since the inappropriate picture was from a peer.  As far as what could have been done differently, it would involve the follow-up with administrators on my end of things versus assuming it was taken care of.
