We have had several instances at the middle school of students using social media and the Internet to bully or harass students when they thought nobody was "looking" or there wouldn't be any consequences. It invariably gets found by other students or parents who report it to the school and then meetings are had to (re)explain how what the bully did was wrong and affected the victim(s) of their attack or "jokes". Sometimes the perpetrators did not know how they were affecting others and needed that explained by way of victim(s) sharing their emotions during the incident.
