Working in a middle school, I see a lot of students do inappropriate things with technology. They are constantly taking pictures with or without other's knowledge, sneaking off to the bathrooms to record TikToks, or sending each other mean messages over Snapchat. It's not limited to classrooms or hallways either. They also do it while riding the bus.
It has been an ongoing battle and some teachers will have students leave their cell phones in a designated area of a classroom to limit the likelihood of inappropriate use. It helps some, but they still manage to do so with their individually assigned Chromebook/IPad.
