Inappropriate Use of Digital Media

I think I will see more and more inappropriate use with digital media as my middle school aged son gets older.  We are pretty over protective but I know we can only shelter him from so much for so long.  Just last night I was talking to my friend who has a daughter a year older than my son.  A friend of her daughter took her phone while she was unaware it was out of her possession.  This "friend" texted and posted inappropriate sexual content from her phone.  I have also heard my friends talk about the trouble with some apps such as SnapChat.  I see some of my "friends" on facebook using inappropriate language that is completely unnecessary. I am glad that facebook now has the Hide Post and Unfollow option.
