So many times people are quick to grab their cell phones and start recording or snap a picture of an event they think is funny but would be embarrassing to another. With a simple click "post to Facebook" or Snapchat, their post can reach hundreds. They do not think to ask the people in the video/picture for their permission to post it. As an educator, I am very private and watch my digital footprint. I do not like it when someone posts a picture with me in it without asking me first or tagging me in a picture. One of my lessons involves students searching themselves and seeing what they can find on line. Many are surprised at what they find.
