I haven't personally done anything (that's gotten back to me) that would be considered inappropriate use, but all one has to do is watch the news to hear about e-mail being leaked or students posting pictures or comments that they oughtn't. I'm certain that my own students are guilty of similar actions, but I am guarded with my connection to them, so I don't know as well as I could. Right now I'm trying to teach my parents that many things they read in e-mail forwards are not true. They need to fact check the information, not simply read, accept, and pass it on. I like Snopes.com; it gives the history and degree of truth of internet rumors.
