Inappropriate Use of Digital Media

Like many others, I've had parents bash my teaching on social media. Thankfully, I never saw the posts but the damage was done when I heard about it. It took me a long time to get over the fact that parents would talk about me in a negative way on social media. Parents think social media is the place to vent their frustrations but they don't consider the consequences. We can educate our students on appropriate use of digital media and, hopefully, the next generation will stop and think before posting hurtful words.
