Several years back, it was common place to get chain letters that were sent over the district's email server. This made me feel very uncomfortable. I did not have time for this but I felt like I was being a snob to the person that had sent it to me. Not wanting to bother whoever I would need to forward it to was the stronger of the two feelings so I did not forward them. I do believe that an administrative ban on such things could have stopped these letters from circulating. Maybe they were banned because I no longer receive them. Chain letters sent through work email is definitely an inappropriate use of digital media.
