Inappropriate Use of Digital Media

There are a variety of ways that technology can be used inappropriately.  One the most common that I see on a regular basis in both my personal and professional life are social media posts.  It becomes easy to "hide" behind your computer screen when making comments or posts that one would never deliver face to face.  I think it is important to see social media and digital communication as a means to enhance more traditional means of communication without abandoning standards of behavior that would not be tolerated "in real life."
