Inappropriate Use of Digital Media

My husband is a staff writer at a newspaper.  There are women on the staff that write about family situations, things to do in the community, etc.  One will sometimes write about what of her two kids is doing currently. (They are both preschoolers.)  She says, "Don't read the comments." but sometimes does.  It is hard to understand how people will take something cute a youngster is doing and write such mean things. They attack her for writing the article.  They attack her for her parenting style. They attack her for writing about her own kids.
