Inappropriate Use of Social Media

I was chaperoning students at a conference when students began paying more attention to their phones than the speaker we were watching.  I asked what was so engaging on their phones.  They showed me the inappropriate photos which had been taken in the bathroom and sent out to others.  It put me in a tough situation because even looking at the photos felt very wrong to me.  I contacted our principal so he could deal with the students involved.  It put me in a very uncomfortable position.
