Unfortunately, students who use social media inappropriately in the home sometimes carries over to the school environment. Cyber-bullying has happened between students outside of school which then causes disruptions, arguments, and fights at school. Schools only have so much control. Parents and educators need to reinforce over and over the responsibility that goes along with having access to digital media.
