Share a time when you or someone you know was the recipient of an inappropriate use of digital media or when you might have used digital media in an inappropriate manner. How did this make you or others feel? What might have been done differently?
Unfortunately, it seems that I have too many examples to pull from on social media. I've seen teens sharing private social media accounts for the public to follow. And political soapboxes - misinformation and inflammatory messages being spread at a rapid rate - with degrading language...from people that I'd previously respected. There are those that, on public pages, are just horrid in their responses. Thankfully, it seems as if there are cooler heads out there. We just need many more of those.
I believe that they should've fact-checked their posts, first, and also taken a moment before posting....or a few hours.
