Watching students with their tech is interesting. Some students just seem like they can't live without it. When given an assignment that they need to use a computer for, some feel like that gives them the right to get on and play games and watch videos instead of doing their work. Those students often end up not completing the assignment. If students want technology available at school then they need to learn to be responsible with it.
