Inappropriate Use

Recently, my nephew's friend sent a text to my nephew's girlfriend without his knowledge.  The text was very inappropriate and of a sexual nature.  The girlfriend was very offended by it and probably could have filed charges if she wanted to.  When my nephew realized the text was sent, he was angry about it.  He asked his friend if he sent it, and the friend admitted it.  He knew he had done wrong, but did it anyway.  My sister-in-law got a phone that is password protected to keep this from happening again.  The problem is that he knew what he was doing was wrong, so we also need to teach students the consequences of their actions and hold them accountable.
