I read several newspapers and view several news sites most days. Sometimes I read the comments on stories and am often appalled at those comments. Some are very hurtful, some are used to push the poster's personal agenda - which is often unrelated to the story, and some are expressing a very prejudiced opinion. I feel that some people are filling a need to be heard and I wonder about the reason behind the hurtful things they are saying.
