In education, you often see the misuse of technology by a few students, whether that is being on Facebook, playing games, watching videos or searching for items unrelated to class. The important thing is to remember as a teacher that you can tell them to close their computer at anytime. That is when in may be appropriate to address as reminders the codes of conduct regarding expectations, and a perfect time to address unrelated topics such as how what they do and say in various websites can negatively impact people with gossip or false statements etc. even though it wasn't perhaps what was going on at that moment.
