Facebook seems to be a common culprit for misuse of digital media. I have seen where the line of professionalism has been crossed when an educator was commenting on something a student had posted. I think it is easy for people to forget that postings on social media sights go beyond the individual it is meant for.
I agree that facebook is a very common place for misuse. People have to remember that their good intentions get misinterpreted without the face to face communication of that confirmation, and then it is easy for things to get blown out of proportion, misinterpreted, or misunderstood by unintended recipients.
