My daughter was in the crowd at a volleyball match. A phone was being passed around so that everyone could take a look. She, like all of us, was curious and took a look. She got to see a fellow student's private anatomy. The crazy thing is...it was a selfie and the girl's face was in the photo. How can these kids not know the ramifications of taking these pictures and sending them into the void? And, as a mother, what are my responsibilities? Do I share with the mother of the girl that her daughter is oversharing? I am glad there are classes on how to be a digital citizen for students and teachers, but can there be classes for parents on how to deal with the fallout. Sheesh!!
