I have seen inappropriate digital use at one of my previous jobs. The example that I am sharing is an inappropriate joke being sent around through company emails. The person who had sent it did not think about his actions. The material was bad enough that disciplinary action could have been taken on that alone....not to mention the poor judgement of sending it around through the company server. Sometimes we just need to stop and think before we hit "Send". This mistake was made by an adult who should have known better. Kids will make mistakes but we need to make sure that we teach kids at a young age what is acceptable and unacceptable to be placed on the internet. I think both parents and teachers need to teach kids this.
