I have not personally experienced any inappropriate use and do not know anyone who has (being one of those people who remembers party lines). But I do see many articles in the news that details political representatives or pop culture idols who have been found to be using their digital media inappropriately. Nearly all circumstances involve loss of job, prestige, popularity and has even caused people to be arrested. This causes great concern for me as I realize that the rights and responsibilities that we hold dear in normal citizenship are not automatically transferring to digital citizenship.
