Unfortunately we have had instances of online bullying at our school, as well as bullying through text messaging. It can be a difficult thing to catch, unless the student comes forward or someone is notified in some way. I also see teachers who have become "friends" with a student on Facebook; I think this can be fine as long as the teacher has appropriate posts and an appropriate home page but that has not always been the case.
