I use email a lot at work. I was in a weight loss challenge with a group of people and one of them received the news that they had cancer and dropped out. I emailed the person in charge of the project asking for a replacement person or to be judged just on the tree of us. She said no and rules are rules. I was upset about my friend having cancer and used the digital world to take it out on the person I was emailing. I started saying things I would never say in person to another face to face. The anonimity of it all made it easy to say just whatever. That led to a nasty response from here and another salvo by me. In the end when we finally had to meet face to face at a function we were both red faced. I should of just picked up the phone or stoped in to see her. That would of made all the difference.
