Inappropriate use of Digital Media

As a Para and parent of three now grown up kids, I have seen and heard about many ways kids have abused social media. Some of these have been on Facebook where kids will post hurtful comments to someone's profile. I have seen and heard gossip spread via text messaging. I think as a parent we should teach our kids about what we text and post could have an effect on them personally and how it could effect others. As a Para or Teacher we could try to stop the circulation of something that is wrong and hurtful by reporting it to administration.
