Inappropriate use of Digital Media

Digital etiquette is important to teach our students.  It is also important for students to recognize when other people are not using technology appropriately and safeguard themselves from these users.  Understanding the importance of only giving information to people you know, friends, and family that will not abuse or misuse your information is an important step for students to take in their digital security.  Also, knowing what information is important to share and not to share and how to use filters and have the ability to block those who misuse technology is also an important aspect of digital citizenship.
