Last school year another employee and I were the victims of this. An angery student took pictures of us while we were not looking then posted them to snapchat along with some very negative comments. Although I tend to not take anything the students do personally, I will say that it was a situation that bothered me. It made me feel very insecure and vulnerable. There have also been many times at my school where students video arguements or full on fights and post them to different sites. Most of the time administration can narrow down where it came from, have it removed and reprimand students. It is good to know they have the power to do that however, in many cases the damage is already done and the fallout from it can bleed on for days and cause a ripple effect with other students and staff.
