Inappropriate use of digital media

We have had several 5th graders use Snapchat to bully other students. They threaten each other and spread rumors. We have talked to parents about their child's phone usage and talked to students deleting people from their snapchat. We also had a local police officer come and talk to 5th graders about digital citizenship and the consequences for cyberbullying etc.


These instances leave children feeling angry, sad, embarrassed, hated, and lonely.
