Inappropriate use of digital media

I have been the principal of elementary and middle schools for over 20 years.  As a middle school principal 4 of 5 discipline referrals were initiated by social media posts.  For example video taping fights, snapchat posts, and sexting to name a few.  The time and energy that went into the investigations and then consequences were significant.  Our goal was to always work with parents and agencies to develop learning experiences that would work to prevent inappropriate media posts.
