Inappropriate use of digital media

As an educator I see this with my students frequently.    The majority of my students use Snapchat to communicate with one another.  I have seen students take pictures with captions that are offensive to other students.  This often starts fights both online and in person.  I have talked to my students repeatedly about thinking before they post something.  I think that children need to be taught how to use social media appropriately both at home and at school.
