My daughter has been the recipient of sexual content via text and email. She was very upset as were her father and I. The perpetrators made my daughter feel violated in many ways even though no physical harm came to her. She was very uncomfortable as she was required to attend class with these youth.
For her part, I am not entirely sure what could have been differently in that situation. She did not share her number or email is was another. She did not send or communicate anything out of line but was the recipient. Obviously, the individual(s) that shared her contact information should not have. It was not theirs to share nor did they have her permission. The individual that shared that content should not have. At all.
