Inappropriate use of digital media

I once got into an argument with a relative over social media. I had posted some old family photos that I was gifted by my mother to social media, with a brief description of each. I thought other relatives that I was friends with on the social media might have wanted to see the old photos. The relative that I got into the argument with is 14 years younger than I and her perspective on some bad things that had happened between my parents and our mutual grandparents was different from mine. Relative sent me a private message that she was disappointed in my posting the photos and didn't like my descriptions. She didn't believe that the photos should have been in my possession and demanded them from me. I messaged back to deal with it and she only knew what her parents told her about some events. Relative blocked me from her social media.
This made me sad....as my intentions with posting the photos were good. I honestly didn't think anyone would care if I posted them. My descriptions of each photo weren't positive or negative, just the people in them, their ages and the year. I also didn't believe that I needed to ask a cousin I hadn't seen in over 10 years for her permission to post anything.
I could have ignored my relative's message or just enjoyed the photos on my own.
