One example of inappropriate use of digital media was when my son came home from a friends house and confided in us that his friend had been searching for inappropriate photos on the internet on a tablet while he was there. His parents had not put parental controls on the tablet and the child was able to look up anything on the internet. Another example is when an aquaintance posted something on facebook she was passionate about and another person who did not agree with her point of view used very inappropriate and hurtful language towards her.
