I encountered this last week:
One of my employees, who is dating the father of a student, posted a tweet about the student. It was not offensive or inappropriate per say, but the child's mother was bothered by it.
The tweet was made on personal time. I had a discussion with the employee about digital etiquette. Ultimately, the employee didn't violate any rules or break any laws, but she was insensitive with her tweet.
People have to understand the depths and breadth to which digital platforms can reach.
