Inappropriate use of digital media

There are times in my current work environment where people have sent an email or posted something to social media making inappropriate comments about a co-worker or manager which they did not intend to be shared or seen by others.  The only thing this type of behavior leads to is hurt feelings and concerns with trust and professionalism.  Social media has become to accessible and easy for people to share comments or feelings without having to be thoughtful in regards to consequences or the potential widespread effect their comments may have.
