I have 2 thoughts:
1 - Teachers need to be very aware of what is happening in the classroom especially when using the internet. Where are the students searching? Who might they be chatting with? What sights can they get into that perhaps should be blocked?
2 - How do we help substitute teachers feel comfortable when students are using the internet in the classroom when you are absent? Will students take advantage of the sub and go to places they should not be? If the student is taking a test, can they get to other sites to "help" them with the test?
Teachers and subs need to be up and about and paying attention to the sites being searched while students are in the internet.
