As teachers we are often times very busy and an email communication with a parent is quicker and easier than a personal phone call home. This can cause problems in the area of communication because the recipient of the email due to the wording of the email, may interpret the message in a way, not intended by the sender. This can cause the recipient to become offended, hurt or angry. It is always best to contact the parents personally, and if an email is warranted, then great care must be afforded in the wording of the message.
