Inappropriate use of digital media

We were doing a cooking project online when I kept hearing the students talk about blue waffles and laughing. I thought it had to do with food and didn't think much about it until a student came up to me very upset about being called a blue waffle. I looked it up and it was a disease of the vagina.  It was disgusting and very inappropriate. Now when I hear some type of strange food being discussed I check it out and make sure it is a real food.
