Inappropriate use of digital media

While teaching a class about bullying to young middle school students, I decided to show a video on youtube that I found. However, I did not watch it prior to showing it. That was a mistake. The students were shocked that I let them watch the video with bad words in it. They used a few words that were not exactly appropriate for school. I now always watch the entire video first, before showing it to a class.
