Innapropriate use of Digital Media - Natalie Newman

I have been in online meetings both with adults and at school where microphones were not muted.  Comments were made that were hurtful.  I've also seen comments that were not relevant and borderline inappropriate in the chat.  With more education about what is professional in a school setting vs personal these embarrassing and hurtful mistakes can be avoided.  Appropriate behavior can be modeled and students can lead by example in many cases.
